Seahorses

My five year old is doing a school project on seahorses and she has to give a presentation (powerpoint is an option - not kidding!). Anyway, she told me tonight that male seahorses not only give birth to baby seahorses but they carry them in a pouch like a kangaroo. Being a bit of a skeptic I had to check this out; low and behold it is true - who knew? Not really sure what I learned in kindergarten, but apparently I never knew anything about seahorses.
